Bath Harbor Motel & Marina is located in Bath, NC on the eastern shore of Bath Creek. The harbor is approximately 1 1/2 miles long and 1/2 mile wide. Bath is the oldest incorporated town in North Carolina and was established in 1705. Some of the town's historical homes are restored and available for tours and public viewing. Much of the town is the same as it was when John Lawson laid the boundaries in the late 17th century. The area is unspoiled and much of the land is in its natural state. Blackbeard The Pirate was probably the town's most infamous resident.
